Giving Thanks

Rescuing dogs wouldn't be possible without the help and support of many people. The Dog Squad Rescue team would like to recognize all who have helped us, including fellow rescue groups, the kind souls who have fostered and adopted our dogs, our volunteers, and each other -- because we couldn't do this alone.

Several rescue groups have given us support and the benefit of their experience. We've also received help from several experienced individuals, including Michelle Johnson, Chris Lowe and Ellie Asteridge. Their advice and help has been invaluable.

In a world that is often cruel or indifferent to animals, we've been blown away by the kindness and commitment of the people who have adopted our dogs. You restore our spirits.

We reserve a special thanks for our foster parents. We couldn't do this without you. You open up your homes and your hearts and all the money in the world couldn't buy what you give to the animal rescue community.

Finally, many kind staff members at the county shelter in Carlsbad as well as several of the shelter's volunteers have helped and supported us along the way.
