From Mange to Mansion!

When we rescued Franklin, a.k.a Yummie, he was a sorry sight. He had lost most of his coat due to a bad case of mange and his skin was smelly and oily. He had four different infections besides the mange, not to mention allergies! We started him on a regimen of dips and good food, with the help of his wonderful foster mom, Carol. Before long, his coat started to fill in and he started smelling normal.

Franklin has gone from rags to riches... from mange to mansion! He has been adopted by wonderful family who live up on a hilltop in the Lake Poway area. Franklin has a 2 acre yard to call his own. The property also borders a horse trail that winds through the canyons right outside the property, which Franklin's new owner plans to take Franklin for long walks on. He even takes Franklin to work with him. The family love Franklin and are not afraid of the ongoing medical needs that he may have.
